UBER DRIVER CHARGED IN SHOOTING DEATH OF PASSENGER
Denver District Attorney Beth McCann has formally charged an Uber driver in the shooting death of a passenger last Friday.
Michael Hancock (dob: 07-24-1988) is charged with one count of murder in the first degree-after deliberation (F1). The charge was directed filed in District Court today.
The charge alleges that early in the morning of June 1, 2018, on I-25 near University Boulevard, the defendant shot and killed his passenger, 45-year-old Hyun Kim.
The defendant’s first appearance in District Court has not yet been scheduled.
