REMINDER OF UPCOMING OFFICER-INVOLVED SHOOTING

COMMUNITY MEETINGS

As previously announced in the May 22 and June 12 releases of two officer-involved decision letters, District Attorney Beth McCann is hosting public community meetings this week to discuss with interested community members the legal analysis and conclusion reached with respect to each fatal shooting.

The community meeting regarding the shooting of Peter Le will be held on Wednesday, June 27, from 6:00-7:30 p.m. in the Mead Meeting Room at the Virginia Village Branch Library, 1500 S. Dahlia Street.

The community meeting regarding the shooting of Alex Duran will be held on Thursday, June 28, from 6:00-7:30 p.m. in the Community Meeting Room at the Hadley Branch Library, 1890 S. Grove Street.
