Man Who Sexually Assaulted Three Teen Girls Sentenced (Marcotte)
DENVER—This afternoon, Bradley J. Marcotte (age 57) received a 54 years to life prison sentence from the Honorable Judge John W. Madden, IV for sexually assaulting three teenage girls. In August, a jury found Marcotte guilty of using their shared Catholic faith as a catalyst for the abuse.
“The abuse Bradley Marcotte committed against these teenage girls was intentional and manipulative,” said Denver District Attorney Beth McCann. “Marcotte is a sexual predator who targeted vulnerable girls and manipulated them into believing he was their spiritual advisor. His victims are to be commended for finding the strength to confront their abuser whose sentence is appropriate given the damage he has caused.”
Marcotte was charged with eleven counts related to sexually assaulting three teenage victims. Judge Madden sentenced Marcotte to separate, consecutive sentences for each of the eleven counts. In total, the Court imposed a sentence of 54 years to life.
