Man Arrested and Charged in Connection with Multiple Incidents of Indecent Exposure, (Lucero)

DENVER—Prosecutors with the Denver District Attorney’s Office recently filed six felony counts of indecent exposure against a previously-convicted sex offender, Mark T. Lucero (39-years old). The incidents all occurred in northwest Denver.

The incidents occurred on:

December 16, 2018, in the 4300 block of North Stuart/Raleigh Street alley (involved two victims)
December 20, 2018, in the 4300 block of North Yates/Xavier alley
December 24, 2018, in the 3900 block of North Winona/Vrain Street alley
December 24, 2018, in the 4200 block of North Tejon/Umatilla Street alley
December 25, 2018, in the 4500 block of North Utica/Vrain Street alley.

On December 28, 2018, the Denver Police Department released a Metro Denver Crime Stoppers Bulletin providing general details about the incidents along with a still image of the vehicle. Because community members came forward, members of law enforcement were able to identify, arrest and charge Lucero.

Lucero’s preliminary hearing is set for Denver County Court on Wednesday, January 30, 2019, at 9:30 a.m. in courtroom 4B.
