District Attorney McCann Issues Officer-Involved Shooting Letter; Investigation and Decision Re February 25, 2019, Shooting of David Litton

DENVER—The legal review of the officer-involved shooting that occurred on February 25, 2019, at 1200 N. Galapago Street is complete.  A copy of the decision letter from Denver District Attorney Beth McCann to Denver Police Chief Paul Pazen is available for review along with the investigation protocol.

District Attorney McCann concluded that the shooting was legally justified for the reasons outlined in the letter.  She will hold a community meeting to discuss the shooting and her findings at the Byers Branch Library on Thursday, August 1, 2019, from 6:00 – 7:15 pm.
