Denver DA Charges Dontari Hudson in Officer-Involved Shooting Incident
DENVER—On July 27, 2020, an armed robbery investigation led by the Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force resulted in the non-fatal shooting of two Aurora Police Officers. Today, Denver DA Beth McCann announced that her office has filed 10 felony charges against Mr. Dontari Hudson for that incident which occurred in the vicinity of East 47th Ave. of Andes Street in Denver.
Hudson (DOB 06/28/1998) is specifically charged with three counts of criminal attempt to commit murder in the first degree (F2), five counts of assault in the first degree (F3) and two counts of aggravated robbery (F2). Hudson’s case number is 20CR04631 and is proceeding in courtroom 5C. Because the arrest affidavit is sealed, no additional information is being provided at this time.
