DA Beth McCann Issues Statement on Todd Perkins Verdict

DENVER—Today, in case number 19CR01178, a Denver jury found Todd Norman Perkins (age 57) guilty of five counts of attempted first degree murder, seven counts of attempted first degree assault, one count of first degree arson, one count of first degree burglary, one count of second degree burglary and one count of first degree assault.  He will be sentenced on March 27, 2020 at 1:30 in courtroom 4H.

The following statement is to be attributed to Denver DA Beth McCann:

“I commend the dozens of first responders, the Denver Fire Department, the Denver Police Department and my incredible staff of victim advocates, investigators and prosecutors for their hard work on this case which led to Todd Norman Perkins being found guilty.  In addition, I thank the members of the jury for their service on this long trial as well as Judge Madden for his leadership.  Finally, I hope that Mr. Perkins’ victims feel that justice was served and I wish them all the best as they move forward with their lives.”
